K-Way, an iconic brand that has dressed generations upon generations, was created in 1965 by Léon-Claude Duhamel, son of a textile manufacturer from Nord-Pas-de-Calais. It disrupts outdoor clothing with waterproof windbreaker jackets in pop colors and modern technology, K-Way disrupts the codes of its time.
Popularized in the 70s, K-Way imposes its name in everyday language alongside Bic or Scotch for example.
20 years later, it was in 2004 that the destiny of the brand took a completely different turn when the Italian group BasicNet bought it. The models are developed, collaborations are made with Marc Jacobs, Maje and Petit Bateau in particular.
The popularity of the brand therefore continued to increase until the very opening of a few K-Way stores in Paris and, of course, in Lille, its hometown.
